Toastmaster Of The Year Award Recepient
Joseph Bechenbach is the precipitant of the Toastmaster of the Year Award. Joseph has been a Toastmaster for over 10 years. As a Toastmaster he has gone way above the districts expectations. He is serving as District 14’s Parliamentarian. When the District SAA had to take a leave of absence Joseph on his own accord stepped in to the role of acting Sergeant at Arms for the district. Joseph did the job of two people. At the Fall Conference and at TLI Joseph took control of the “behind the scene” activity. He continuously asked how he could serve to help make the members have everything that they needed. . In addition to taking on added responsibility he also helped the district governor with different projects. Congratulations go to Joseph Bechenbach for being Toastmaster of the Year!
Communication And Leadership Award Recipient

Christeen Snell, Director of the Fayette County Library, has been honored with the 2009 Georgia Toastmasters Communication and Leadership Award. This annual award is presented to a non-Toastmaster who exemplifies outstanding communication and leadership skills.
Nominated by Fayetteville’s High Noon Club, Ms. Snell’s qualifications stood out from other candidates for the breadth and depth of her commitment to her community and for her support of the ideals of Toastmasters International. She was officially recognized at the District 14 (state of Georgia) Spring Conference on April 25.
