Sir Francis Bacon, English author and philosopher, coined the phrase, “Knowledge is Power.” Someone later added, “But only if you know how to acquire it.” Toastmasters provides us with a roadmap to enhance our communication and leadership skills. Toastmasters is an amazing tool that allows us to tap into our potential in life and increase our abilities. In Toastmasters, there is a specific path for members to follow to acquire the knowledge, power, and enhancements they seek. |

The Fall Conference in Atlanta has re-energized the momentum we have started this year with, and our esteemed Toastmasters International President Jana Barnhill reminded us of what it means for all members to ensure they are receiving a solid return on their investment in the Toastmasters educational program. As leaders, it is our responsibility to ensure the clubs in District 14 are providing opportunities for the members to foster their leadership and communication skills. |
